Kangana Ranaut Won Third National Award for Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015)

Kangana Ranaut won her third National Film Award for the Film Tanu Weds Manu Returns. The film received widespread critical acclaim with Kangana Ranaut's performance was particularly praised with many considering it one of the best Bollywood sequels ever made.

The film received three awards at the 63rd National Film Awards, including Best Actress for Ranaut.

At the 61st Filmfare Awards, the film received two awards, including Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress for Ranaut.

Kangana Ranaut won the Best Actress Award also called Rajat Kamal Award or The Urvashi Award with ₹ 50000 and a Citation. 

Kangana was awarded at the 63rd National Film Award Ceremony in Delhi on May 3, 2016. Former President Shri Pranab honored Kangana with her second National Award. ♥️



About Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015)

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is a 2015 all time blockbuster Indian romantic comedy film directed by Aanand L. Rai which is a sequel to the 2011 film Tanu Weds Manu. Kangana Ranaut, R. Madhavan, reprise their roles as Tanu Manu from the original film. Kangana Ranaut also portrays the additional role of a Haryanvi athlete in it. 

Tanu Weds Manu Returns holds the record for the highest first week collections ever for a female driven film in India. It is the first Indian women-centric film to enter the ₹100 crore club. It is the highest-grossing Indian film driven by a female lead till date. ♥️
