In this video we repaired the motherboard of a Dell Latitude E5450 laptop. The problem with this laptop is that it works but does not recognize the charger! First of all, this type of malfunction in Dell devices is considered one of the recurring or common malfunctions.

Its cause is usually a disconnection in the ID line, either due to the charger or the charging socket or damage to the path on the motherboard.

After trying more than one charger and ensuring the safety of the charging socket, the malfunction was confined to the motherboard.

After disassembling the device and extracting the motherboard and examining it visually as a first stage, it became clear to us that there was burning in some components. By using the diagram and board view of this motherboard, we identified the damaged elements and replaced them so that the device would return to recognizing the charger and working perfectly, as you will see in this video.
