Not only could you use ADSB to attempt to track drones, but many have wifi based cameras and other hardware.

We share how you might be able to use a script I shared some bit ago, called 'mactrack', that allows you to pick up wifi devices, their brand identification, and also lead you to location of their saved network's GPS / address.

This creates opportunity to track a pattern of life.

Government has said "they are not our drones", and that they do not know who is flying them.
