SHUTTER ANGLE vs SHUTTER SPEED!

When using Shutter Angle, the 180 degree angle will give you the same result as using a Shutter Speed which is double your frame rate. This is usually the most desirable shutter to have as it creates a "natural" motion blur.

When using Shutter Speed and swapping frame rates, you have to change your Shutter Speed to keep the same motion blur. Shutter Angle eliminates this step as it accounts for frame rates which allows you to swap frame rates and not worry about the Shutter Speed.

So what's the difference? Shutter Speed is a measurement in time while Shutter Angle is a measurement in degrees of the shutter itself.

A Shutter Speed of 1/250 means that the shutter is open for 1/250th of a second.

A Shutter Angle of 180 means the shutter is open for half the time of one frame, meaning if you're shooting in 30 frames per second you will get the same equivalency as a shutter of 1/60
