At the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, we are committed to preventing drugs from entering our jails. This video showcases a re-enactment of the initial booking process, where our Correctional Officers take every step to ensure a thorough search.
First, the suspect undergoes a detailed search. If anything suspicious is found, we employ our cutting-edge narcotics laser, which provides quick and accurate results within seconds. In addition, we use a state-of-the-art body scanner specifically designed to detect hidden contraband, including drugs.
