🇧🇷 No último sábado (30), a Yuga Labs iniciou o leilão de terrenos virtuais do seu novo metaverso Otherside.

A empresa levantou US$ 285 milhões em menos de 24 horas e gerou uma das maiores taxas de rede (gas fees) da história da Ethereum – cerca de US$ 176 milhões.

Apesar do sucesso, nem tudo foram flores – especialmente para os compradores. A grande procura gerou um congestionamento na rede Ethereum e fez com que a mesma travasse.

🇺🇸 Last Saturday (30), Yuga Labs began the auction of virtual land for its new Otherside metaverse.

The company raised $285 million in less than 24 hours and generated one of the highest gas fees in Ethereum history – around $176 million.

Despite the success, it wasn't all rosy – especially for buyers. The high demand generated congestion on the Ethereum network and caused it to crash.
