Series and Parallel Circuits

Series and Parallel Circuits. A circuit is a closed loop or a path that an electron or electric current can travel in. The sources of electricity have differentiated from a mains electricity to a battery, which provide electrical energy in the circuit. There are two basic types of circuits: Series and Parallel Circuits. Series Circuit is when electricity flows in one path and the same current flows through all the components. The parallel circuit is when electricity flows in more than one path on the same circuit, where all components are connected across each other's terminal.
