AgilePoint NX offers an array of out-of-the-box features to complement our development and the maintenance of that development. One area that we are frequently in is Runtime Management. This provides us with several tools for maintaining our applications. For our topic today, we will be focusing on the migration feature. This feature provides a way to migrate a process to another version. This works great when migrating single processes, but what if we have several? Or even hundreds? Well, there is another option to migrating these processes in mass or batch. This automation saves a significant amount of time and effort.

Why?
When you publish a new version of your application, AgilePoint provides the opportunity to migrate your current processes on the previous version to the latest. This is performed in the Runtime Management, upgrading each process 1 by 1.

So what’s the complexity?
Depending on how many processes are active, this could be a long and tedious process. There is another method for mass or batch processing of migrating processes to another version.
