CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of abused, neglected and abandoned children in foster care. Unlike foster parents, CASA volunteers are not required to provide food, shelter and clothing for children in foster care. CASA volunteers advocate for children in foster care to ensure their best interest is served.
