How to make Plant Watering system using ESP32 Webserver for vacation | Smart irrigation project

In this ESP32 project, I have shown how to make the plant watering system using ESP32 web server and a soil moisture sensor. The ESP32 will control the water pump automatically as per the soil moisture level. You can monitor the moisture level and temperature on your smartphone via web interface without an internet connection.

Here I have used Altium PCB Designer to make the PCB.

During the ESP32 project video, I covered the following topics:
00:27 Quick demo on automatic watering system for plants.
03:52 Required components for the ESP32 irrigation project.
04:05 Circuit diagram of the automatic plant watering system.
04:37 Make ESP32 plant watering project on Zero PCB.
05:34 Source code for ESP32 smart plant monitoring system.
09:13 How to install the indoor plant watering system.

Features:
1. Real-time Soil Moisture Monitoring: Ensures plants receive the right amount of water. You can set the ideal moisture level for the soil in the code.
2. Temperature & Humidity Monitoring: Displays environmental data using a DHT11 sensor.
3. OLED Display: Provides a compact and clear visualization of sensor readings.
4. Web-Based Control Panel: Allows users to monitor and control the system remotely.
5. Buzzer Alerts: Notifies when soil moisture is critically low.
6. Automatic & Manual Modes: Users can choose between hands-free operation or manual control.

During this video, I made the circuit on zero PCB using the PCB layout, and also shared the plant monitoring system circuit and source code.

Required components for the indoor plant watering system.
1) ESP32 DEV KIT V1
2) Capacitive soil moisture sensor V2.0
3) DHT11 Sensor
4) 0.96" OLED Display
5) 1k 0.25watt Resistors (R1-R6) - 6 no
6) 1N4007 diode
7) BC547 NPN Transistor
8) TIP122 NPN Transistor with heat sink
9) LEDs 5mm - 4no
10) 7805 voltage regulator with heat sink
11) 2-pin Push Button - 2no
12) 2-pin Terminal connectors (2 no)
13) 3-pin Terminal connectors (1 no)
14) 5V DC Buzzer
15) 100uF 25V capacitor (C1)

Important points:
1. You can eighter use a 12V DC pump or 12V solenoid valve.
2. Use heat sinks with 7805 regulator, and TIP122 transistor.
3. Use a stable DC power supply.
4. Enter the MIN & MAX capacitive moisture sensor reading as shown in the video.
5. You have to tap on the refresh button to see the sensor data on web interface.

Applications:
Home Gardening: Helps automate watering for indoor/outdoor plants.
Greenhouses: Maintains optimal soil moisture and climate conditions.
Agriculture: Reduces manual labor and ensures efficient water use.
Smart Irrigation Systems: Can be integrated with larger irrigation networks.
