The Minister for External Affairs of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar, has consistently been vocal about India's steadfast opposition to all forms of terrorism, including cross-border terrorism, and has criticised its neighbour for supporting it.

The EAM further highlighted that "the channel of finances for terrorist activities must be seized and blocked without distinction."

It is highly unlikely for India to normalise its relations with Pakistan untill it abrogates its policies of cross-border terrorism.
