Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava and Navaratri, is a Hindu festival in the Indian subcontinent that worships the goddess Durga.

This maa Durga acrylic painting is one of my favorite pieces. In Indian philosophy, there are nine rasas and this is one of them. This modern maa Durga painting depicts the Shringara (love/beauty)or, Shantha (peace or tranquility) rassa.
Goddess Durga is now portrayed in numerous forms and types by people today.
