People don’t like pessimism, nor do they enjoy being told they’re wrong. Even when they are, they resist correction because they take it personally. Rather than seeing it as a simple exchange of ideas, they perceive it as an attack on their intelligence, identity, or character. In that moment, you become the enemy. You might think of yourself as someone who “keeps it real,” someone who does people a favor by pointing out their mistakes. You believe your honesty is a rare gift, something others should appreciate. After all, few are brave enough to tell the truth as it is. But in practice, this approach rarely works. Instead of gratitude, you’re met with resistance, denial, or even hostility. People don’t respond by saying, Thank you for enlightening me. Instead, they double down on their beliefs and resent you for challenging them. It’s not that the truth doesn’t matter—it does. But delivery is everything. The moment someone feels attacked, they stop listening. It no longer matters how right you are; the conversation becomes about defending themselves rather than considering your point. Who Am I?
I am a practicing management consultant, former CEO, and entrepreneur. I have led many businesses to success, as well as several startups. Among other things, I have an engineering degree, and a master's degree in finance.

I have worked across five industries, and have worked in both large enterprise and small businesses. I have also mentored startup founders and teach business and HR at a post-graduate level.

Why I Want To Involve My Community:
