In a recent Reddit AMA by Ubisoft themselves, they announced a brand new mode that will be coming to Assassin's Creed Shadows... Ubisoft explained why this mode will 'keep everyone happy', but I believe it will DESTROY AC Shadows from the inside out... And it's called Canon Mode.
