How to Stream Unifi Camera to VLC

To stream a UniFi camera to VLC, follow these steps:

1. Find the RTSPS URL: Log in to your UniFi Protect application. Go to the camera settings, then navigate to the "RTSPS" section. Enable the RTSP stream if it's not already enabled and copy the RTSPS URL provided. 0:40

2. Open VLC Media Player: Launch VLC on your computer. 0:50

3. Open Network Stream: In VLC, go to the "Media" menu and select "Open Network Stream" (or press `Ctrl+N`). 1:54

4. Enter the RTSPS URL: Paste the RTSPS URL you copied from the UniFi Protect application into the "Network URL" field. 1:00

5. Edit the RTSPS URL to RTSP: Edit the RTSPS URL to RTSP so that VLC can open the URL. (Format Below) 1:25

5. Play the Stream: Click "Play" to stream the camera feed in VLC. 1:30

You should now see the live feed from your UniFi camera in VLC.

Edited: rtsp://192.168.22.25:7447/WoHgOaFInqIeceSo

1. Erase the "?enableSrtp"
2. Change the port from 7441 to 7447
3. Change the main URL from rtsps to rtsp
