Hello 학생들! This is Teacher Kim and today we will talk about Tensification:


When a plain plosive consonant (ㄱ, ㄷ, ㅂ, ㅅ, OR ㅈ)is preceded by
a plosive or fricative consonant( [ㄱ], [ㄷ], OR [ㅂ]) AS 받침
it becomes the corresponding tense consonant (ㅃ, ㄸ, ㅉ, ㄲ).

Example: 몇번-- 몇뻔, 없다 -- 업따
