If you checked out my previous Framework 16 video, you'll know that I thought this was an incredible computer that was hamstrung by an under powered GPU that it struggled to power OR cool. Long has the legend of OCulink grown in quiet corners of dark, ancient places... only to be whispered, fables and folklore, handed down for generations. Long believed to be a match made in heaven for the Framework 16 and it's expandable PCI-E options, at long last, OCulink has finally arrived to not only save this computer from mediocrity, but elevate it to unrivaled supremacy. I've been running a DIY OCulink setup with my Framework Laptop 16 using the M.2 Expansion Bay Adapter, a 5070ti, and a Minisforum DEG1. It's hard to imagine going back to another bulky gaming laptop after finally experiencing eGPU perfection. Thanks for watching!
