And sometimes they mix!

For me personally, the easiest way to make friends abroad is through football

The first thing I did when moving to China and to the Czech Republic was sign up for pickup leagues

And within 1-2 games I already made some awesome local friends

But even if you don’t play, having some knowledge of the game is super helpful

I’ve been in countless awkward situations while traveling but being able to talk about local football players or teams really helped me out

It’s the world’s game for a reason!
