EXCELLENT Budget Tripod! | K&F Concept BA225 61” Carbon Fiber Tripod Review

In this video I talk about why I think tripods are an essential part of any photographer or videographer's kit, but why I rarely use them. I like to be as ready to react to what is happening around me, and to get dynamic shots wherever I can, and tripods make this difficult! But on the other hand, you NEED a tripod to get talking head shots, static b-roll, and long-exposure photography.

I also review this K&F tripod, and compare it to my older, budget Amazon Basics tripod. The K&F Concept tripod is great, with it's versatility of functionality allowing you to set it up to suit whatever scenario you end up shooting. It also feels very sturdy and like it could take a beating over time. And the arca-swiss base plate and ball head make it very easy to alter the position of your camera once it is attached to the tripod. However, it isn't totally immune to my critique! It takes longer to set up when compared to the Amazon Basics Tripod due to the twist-locking mechanism of the legs. Additionally, there is no quick release for the base plate which would have made it far easier to remove the camera from the tripod than it is.

Overall though, this is a REALLY solid tripod that I have really enjoyed testing and using. I think I am going to get a lot of use out of it!
