Nearly every other developed country has streamlined, online government portals where citizens can efficiently file their taxes at home, online, for free.

But not the United States! 🙈

~90% of Americans figure it out on their own, spending even more money to pay money to the government (all thanks to a robust corporate tax services lobby — they do NOT want you to see this video 😅)

UNTIL NOW 👉 IRS Direct File is a relatively new program expanding its reach each year to provide an easy way for Americans to file their federal & state taxes online!

HOWEVER — DirectFile is at risk of being “deleted” by a ~certain unelected billionaire~

sigh He has already "fired" the team that created this program, but the IRS has clarified that it is still operational this tax season.
