Well the app that inow have may seem simple but a lot of work goes into every simple thing we see on them those apps i wrote down all of the complete cycle below i dont think anyone will be able to read this.: )
SO LEARNING JAVA :
Has we all know java is one the most popular programming language in the world and the most widely used .
It does not come handy, But since we had already learned C language in the First year itself it was kinda Easy {Not the Problems solving process but the basic language}
We all just searched for a java tutorial on YouTube and followed it thoroughly (I mean I kinda watched it like a movie)so it was hard to remember Anything from what I learned after I finished the video .That was the samething happening with my roommates(Amaresh ,Sanjay,Rohit)so we asked for a helping hand from our senior he was like a brother actually if we had any doubt he was always there(unlike our most teachers). Has guided we then realized that we need to learn and prepare a notes of what we understand so that way we will be able to learn so we went on the website W3SCHOOLS(the Best with step by step and an excercise problem for all the concepts we learn), we followed up with that site . Basically all of us would play PUBG till evening (yeah that's right) of any particular day we discussed our progress and mostly The common unnecessary talks and strategies to win a chicken dinner,But at the evening we would all be all be learning Java it took us 24 days for all of us complete that is exactly 24\05\2021 on that day we were good at our core java(Not advanced), So the first step of Our Journey was completed.
Getting Started with Android development:
So now has I have learned some necessary JAVA for android development now I have already Installed android studio and I had an APP Idea the reason why I started android development it uses a simple calculation method and was very satisfying if I could upload it on Play store
So now is 2nd of june and I made a pre-plan for the app and and I started Coding .
It is a simple idea where you give two inputs and it’ll just give the result so Now the entire Week I just wrote some code and played pubg (Yeah! I never left that)and then by 10th of june my app was giving results and was working properly.
In the midst of all this Our 3rd Sem Results were out which took me by mere surprise y?? because Surprisingly i passed all the Subjects : ) LOL!
ERRORS(the Breakdown Moment)
Off-course it had some big errors like one time when I clicked Run it said the core was Dumped : ) these were the moments where I just thought that I should drop this and Quit it. but Still huge Thanks to our GOOGLE and StackOverflow almost everthing was solved and Once agin I was back on track .and then added some fancy features like the Toast messages and Dialog Box to make them feel good after using the app.
Uploading To PlayStore :
Yeah!the Next Big thing was uploading it to the playstore it was like a matter About honor and Privilage (more like a build up) among the classmates and then the main reason was to let the Recruiting companies know about my ability.
But, this was no easy Task the Google play Developer account itself was 25$ which I managed to purchase that was like the first step or the minimum eligibility for a Android Developer.
Google Play Store is not someplace where you could simply upload your App . Which I came to know Later they have like a book of policies and rules which had to followed and they would test them first Before the official release of our Applications .
So without knowing them I was busy preparing the Icons and the ScreenShots to upload , it may seem easy at first saying that its just screenchots and icond but it took me nearly 4 days S0 its 14/6/21 .
Once I was done with it I started the app release process on Google Play and I gave all the information (Its a Gigantic Process) and Due to Covid it was a 3 day process
So I continued my routine of Playing PUBG while I waited for Release Verification and then 2 days Later I Recieved a Mail saying a list of about 10 things that were wrong about the app and made sure all were(Atleast somethings I Knew) Corrected and then Re uploaded it the Evening itself and then a day later I recieved a mail saying there are still 5 Errors so I did my magic again and I uploaded it and a day later it was rejected again for some copyright issue so I had to change the title of the app which I loved :( and this time I was like if it does not get uploaded let me leave it and Started Playing PUBG .
But to my surprise on 21/6/21 after 4 failed attempts My app was finally Online and the rest of the week It felt Greaaaat.
