Shape Up - You'd Better Shape Up

Faced with challenges that are probably familiar to many Agile teams, the team that Eli Ferrall and Lee Campbell run at VGW was at a turning point. They were struggling to not only deliver work of value, but to deliver anything at all. Dissatisfaction was high, and retention was low.

Something had to change. The team took a leap of faith, and adopted a “Shape Up” style of Product Development, fundamentally changing the way they prioritised, organised, and delivered.

18 months later, and still going strong, Eli and Lee will share how they dug their way out, and find themselves planning their 10th “cycle”.
