In this video tutorial we go over the basic process of creating a new Powershell logging module.

As a developer or an operations person, writing Powershell scripts becomes a daily activity. As you get more advanced you begin to wonder if there is a better way then to simply write a bunch of functions that are stored in a single Powershell file to be able to provide the ability to execute scripts. Powershell modules is that mechanism which also allows you to share your scripts with your colleagues as well as the rest of the community.
In this video we cover the basics of creating a new Powershell logging module and the process of creating a useful set of functions that you can leverage in your daily tasks when it comes to logging.
This logging module will allow you to use the foundational aspects like the folder structure and the logic of importing other code files without spending a lot of time customizing the code. You will learn how to then import the module and begin to use it for the scripts that you might like to write.
