How To Limit WiFi Speed For Others User By Bandwidth Control | WiFi speed Limit TP Link Router

Hello Guys! How are you? Today I will show you, how to use Bandwidth Control on the TP-link wireless router?
Please follow the steps:
Open the web browser in your mobile or computer and in the address bar type in: http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or tplinklogin.net/. Then press Enter.
Note: The LAN IP changes by model. Please find it on the bottom label of the router.

Type the username and password in the login page. They are both admin in lower case.

After successfully login, Choose the menu "DHCP Then click DHCP Clients List", you can view the information about the clients. This page shows Client Name, MAC Address, Assigned IP and Lease Time of each DHCP Client connected to the device.
ID - The index of the DHCP Client
Client Name - The name of the DHCP client
MAC Address - The MAC address of the DHCP client
Assigned IP - The IP address that the router has allocated to the DHCP client.
Lease Time - The time of the DHCP client leased. After the dynamic IP address has expired, the user will be automatically assigned a new dynamic IP address.

You can copy this information into Microsoft Word or NotePad. From the dashboard of the user interface of your TP-Link wifi router device, you can easily find bandwidth control for the tp-link router. It does not matter what model you are using because these steps will remain the same for all devices.

First, enable the bandwidth controls for these wifi router devices. After choosing the line type of connection type you are using. It can be either ADSL or any other line.
After that fill two most important details that are, “Egress Bandwidth” and “Ingress Bandwidth”. You can get these details from your internet service providers.

Egress bandwidth = Upload speed. (The maximum and the minimum upload speed through the WAN port.)

Ingress bandwidth = Download speed. (The maximum and the minimum download speed through the WAN port.)

If you want to create some rules for the wireless devices then you can create these rules from the same tab. When you create the rules, you are providing some conditions to users who are using your router.

Click on the “Save” button to save the settings.

Under the Bandwidth Control Rule Settings section, click on the Add New button and then put the values in the boxes.
From the DHCP Client List, note down the IP address whose bandwidth you want to limit.

Type IP address of the client in the IP range box and set the bandwidth limit in Egress Bandwidth and Ingress Bandwidth both with the same value in Minimum Bandwidth and Maximum Bandwidth option. Leave the rest of the boxes blank.

Next, put the Bandwidth range like 1-100 Kbps or 1-500 Kbps according to your wish and then check the Enable box.

Once you have put all the required values in the boxes, finally click on the Save button.

So this is how to limit bandwidth on TP-Link router. From now on, the WiFi user (whose bandwidth limit you have specified) won’t be able to use more bandwidth than allowed.
