A simple tutorial for a Watercolor Northern Lights Sky Painting.

💙Step 01: Tape your watercolor paper on all 4 sides.

💚Step 02: Apply a layer of water with any flat brush to cover your paper with it.

💙Step 03: Drop watercolors on your paper (I have used ink watercolors from @beyondinks which give a really amazing look and are soo easy to blend together !) You can also use any other watercolors

💚Step 04: Blend those colors into each other by any brush (Use a bigger sized brush and blend the colors quickly when the colors and paper are still wet to achieve a smoother blend between the colors)

💙Step 05: Add few elements to your painting. I have added the mountains with a brown color and pine trees with black. (Use a smaller size brush for this. Tip- let your background dry completely before you add the elements)

💚Step 06: Take some white color in your brush and tap on the brush to drop small dots of white stars on your beautiful sky. (A white gouache/acrylic color will get better results than a white watercolor)

💙Step 07: Peel off the tape (Tip- let your painting dry completely before you take off the tape so it doesn't tear off the paper)

💚And your painting is ready ! You can use it as a bookmark too !!
