Realistic jobs in tech if you have no experience: entry level tech jobs at non tech companies! When you want to quit your job and start a career in tech, you should apply for entry level jobs at great companies that don't have too much competition. This is where my hack comes in! Apply to non-tech companies on the Fortune 500, because they have huge revenue and resources to offer amazing jobs, but without the crazy competition of places like Google, Meta, Apple, X, etc. Start learning now and build a portfolio as you go. That portfolio will then be your proof of experience, which opens the door to a real career in tech starting with entry level! You CAN do this. You just need to start! I get it, it's scary and easy to tell yourself you won't make it. But I've personally seen people break in from being hair dressers, bank tellers, retail workers, teachers, SAHMs, etc and about 40% of them didn't even have any degree. You need to take the initiative to learn the skills and then youre qualified for entry level!
