Here's a "doodly" way to engage with an energetic Mozart piece! This tracing map is a fun yet focused and expressive musical activity for elementary students in music class or the general classroom. Especially helpful on days you need quiet or calm activities (like testing days!).
⚫️ How to use this activity:
Students will trace the glyphs as the music plays, following the speed and shape.
• They can use scarves or ribbons, they can trace in their with their finger, or they can use a coloring utensil to trace the glyphs on the paper map (free download here: https://bit.ly/MozartMapTPT)
• Repeating sections will have the same shapes/glyphs. The way they are traced matches the music, so be sure to follow the pace of the color
• Colors in the video are meant to help differentiate between musical sections.
