Here is what happened at my Singapore trip. One of my friend couldn’t get his currency exchanged so he decided to do it from the Airport

The exchange rate he got was Rs. 66 for $1 (Singapore Dollars) while the market rate was ₹57 for SGD $1

Plus they even charged ₹300 as service charge

The local agents offered currency at Rs. 58.3 for one Singapore dollars. Far cheaper than currency agents at the airport

If you beforehand exchange currency from the bank or any local agent you can save a lot of money.
