Introducing "Ask AI" across Chrome DevTools + save changes directly to your source code!

At #googleio, we announced AI assistance across DevTools, enabling you to chat with Gemini to debug smarter.

You can now debug styling errors in the Elements panel, fix performance problems in the Performance panel, identify network issues in the Network panel and explain source files in Sources.

AI assistance can now also directly apply its styling-related changes to your source code in the Elements panel without you having to even leave DevTools. This is possible with "Apply to Workspace". Check out my demo of the full workflow in our React virtual theatre app.
