The story of Fidji Simo (CEO of Instacart)

Fidji started her career at eBay from 2007 – 2011 where she helped build the company’s local commerce and classified-ads initiative. Then, she moved to Facebook and worked her way up to become the VP and Head of Facebook app.

Now she's the CEO of Instacart. She recently made a partnership deal with Uber to bring Uber Eats into Instacart's app. This partnership gives Instacart customers easy access to food delivery from Uber Eats merchants and allows Uber to expand its customer base to families in suburban markets.
