Here’s an example:
📌 An image of a lateral hand appears too light due to a histogram analysis error.
📌 Excess shades of black (attenuated X-ray photons outside the anatomy) skewed the histogram, leading to overexposure correction.
How to Fix It:
✅ Ensure proper collimation to eliminate unnecessary black areas.
✅ Use the same technical factors and repeat the exposure.
💡 Remember, exposure indicators may be incorrect in these cases, so rely on your knowledge of histogram errors.
