Would you like to become a fashion model?

Part of my job as an in-house photographer for Unik Models is to build a portfolio for each newly hired model. Most of the time, this can be their first professional photoshoot ever.

I work with a team consisting of makeup artist, stylist, social media manager, and the casting director. All of us work together to get the best out of the model.

My part of the job is:
help the model to be comfortable at the set;
'warm the model up' by taking classic polaroid style headshots;
show the model poses that I am looking for;
pin point the look that should characterize the model for all the future modelling jobs aka have a 'signature pose';
capture crisps high resolution images;
use the latest fashion photography trends;
appreciate the hard work the model put into the photoshoot! (me as a retired models know how challenging hours of posing can be)
