[Beginners] How to start electronics | You can understand in 5min

In this video, I would like to introduce how to get started with electronics work for those who are interested in electronics work but do not know where to start.

I have tried to keep it as short and compact as possible, so whether you have never done any electronics work before or have been frustrated by it, please watch to the end.

Hello, this is Buono. I would like to show you how to get started with electronicsif you are interested in electronics but don't know where to start. This is what today's video is about.I have tried to keep it as short and compact as possible, so whether you have never done any electronics work yet or have been frustrated by it, please watch to the end.

Now, let's get down to business.First of all, to understand what electronic construction is in the first place, let's look around at the electronic devices around us. For example, I have smartphones, AI speakers, cleaning robots, etc. These may look like completely different things at first glance, but in fact, from a broader perspective, what they are doing is exactly the same. For example, in the case of this AI speaker, when a voice is input by a microphone, the content of the voice is analyzed and the next action is calculated, and the speaker outputs a response or music, thereby realizing communication with people. To explain this at a conceptual level, information is input, calculated results are conveyed to the output, and some purpose is achieved. This flow of input, calculation, and output is a common feature of all devices, including the three electronic devices mentioned here, and the basic form of electronic construction is to create this flow.

The fun of electronic construction, as I see it, lies in thinking about how to combine the countless means of input, calculation, and output in the world and how to realize what you want to do. The more you research, the more you will encounter interesting components and devices in the world, and the more you research, the more you will find that you will never run out of interesting and fun things to do. I believe that once you have experienced this fun, as I have, you will not be able to get out of it. These are my thoughts on electronics.

Now that you have an image of electronics work, let me introduce some specific things you need for electronics work.As I mentioned earlier, electronic construction consists of three steps: input, calculation, and output, so it will be easier to understand what is necessary if you think in accordance with these steps.First, the input is to acquire information from the world by some means, so let's prepare parts generally called sensors, such as ultrasonic sensors and humidity sensors. There are a huge variety of sensors in the world, so just looking at them will inspire you.

The parts that calculate are also called microcontrollers, microcontroller boards, CPUs, etc. In the world of electronic construction, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc. are well-known. In fact, a smartphone can also be used as a microcontroller board.Depending on the application, the output may be an LCD or OLED display for displaying something, a motor for moving something, or a speaker for making sounds.Since signals need to be transmitted between these components, cables and breadboards for wiring are necessary. These are the essentials up to this point, and after that, you will be able to work more comfortably with electronics if you have these measuring instruments and tools. I will introduce these in another video.Next, I will introduce two pieces of knowledge required for electronic work. The first is programming knowledge. When we look at the flow of input, calculation, and output, the most important role is the part that is the calculation. And it is the programming that creates the content of the calculations.

If you want to enjoy the world of electronic construction to the fullest, you should have at least a minimum level of programming knowledge. Let's start with blinking LEDs called "L-tickers" and learn various programs little by little.Next is basic knowledge of electricity. This is for two purposes: to make things work properly and to use them safely.
