In this review/walkthrough, we take a look at Advanced Scripts 2.0, a code snippet manager that is incredibly powerful and useful to anybody creating with WordPress.


Version 2.0 ushers in a basic redesign, alongside a powerful conditions tool, and import export functionality. The core features such as CSS(SCSS and LESS compiling), PHP and JS editing/coding are there. The import/export also supports Code Snippets JSONs.


The autosuggestions make the experience very similar to using CodePen, or VSCode, except that it's coupled to a powerful management UI, and ready to go on any WordPress website.


Pricing is reasonable, and gives you lifetime updates with unlimited installations. While not free like Code Snippets, this is a much more powerful alternative that every WordPress developer/creator should be aware of/have in their toolbox.
