FlowKit Ltd.: Washing Machine Simulation - Velocity Field

To demonstrate fluid-structure interaction, we present an example of a turbulent flow inside a top-loading clothes washing machine. For this purpose, we use a model washer which consists of a vertical-axis drum and a high-speed impeller. Here, we present a slice of the velocity field that passes from the symmetry axis of the washer.
