6th Graders Learn to Code and Create Virtual Reality Games

Thanks to a grant from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and All Points North Foundation, Ms. Vargas’ 6th grade STEM class spent the 2020-2021 school year learning web development and virtual reality programs.

Students connected weekly with Hello World engineers through their STEM classes to learn coding languages like HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript through a software program called CoBlocks. The software helped students organize and check their code while developing their virtual reality games.
