FlowKit Ltd: 3D simulation of a multi-phase axial pump. Water-air interface.

In this showcase we address the effect of an axial pump immersed in water. The pump rotates at 1024 rotations per minute, and has a radius of 0.04 m. This video shows the evolution of the interface between water and air. Capillary waves due to surface tension can be observed on the surface. The appearance of small droplets highlights that atomization effects are fully resolved.
