Quantum computers already have a much higher computational capacity than those we use today. When established, quantum computers will offer us a myriad of benefits, but they will also pose a risk to the security of our data.

Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) is a quantum encryption method that uses the properties of photons to generate completely secure keys, which can be used only once to receive information.
