From the tempo and march style, this song seems to celebrate the end of World War II. Spring returning to the Earth means peace and normalcy returns to Earth. Recorded in 1947, this song illustrates why Wu Yingyin was nicknamed the Nasal Queen. Although her modern performances don't show this feature so much, it could be that the 78 RPM recordings emphasized this aspect of her voice.
