The SmartGeometry group is a pioneer in the development and application of geometric and parametric design tools in architectural research and practice. Architecture is fundamentally about relationships, and many of those relationships are geometric in nature or find a geometric expression.
SmartGeometry was created in the belief that computer-aided design lends itself to capturing these relationships.
Chaired by Achim Menges and featuring the following speakers:
Lars Hesselgren (KPF) - The Need for Parametrics in Practice.
Robert Aish (Bentley) - Theory and Implementation of Parametric Design Software.
Hugh Whitehead (Foster and Partners) - Parametric Design in Practice.
J Parrish (Arup Sport) - Designing the Parametric Building in a Day.
