OpenStack Swift - how do you collaborate?

This is part of an interview with the OpenStack Swift team, at the OpenStack PTG last week in Denver. During that interview, we had something of a tangent about how that team collaborates across timezones, and how they resolve the different priorities of the various collaborating corporations.
