World’s First Hydrofoil ebike Latest News | Top Trending Technologies 2021

These futuristic Manta5 Hydrofoil Bikes are half-bike, half-plane and replicate the cycling experiences on water using carbon fiber foils with electric assist modes similar to a regular pedal-assist e-bike. It is the world’s first hydrofoil ebike that first appeared in 2017. Manta5’s home country is New Zealand.

And in the latest news, the Manta5 XE-1 Hydrofoiler production model’s scale productions are now underway in China.
The bikes are made from carbon fiber and aircraft-grade aluminium, making them buoyant and light enough to carry. Suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, riders can explore ocean coastlines, train along waterways, or cruise the lakeside with friends and family.

Specifications:
Variable pedal assist can be dialled up or down to fit your needs.
Top speed of up to 12 mph (similar to traditional sailboats) and get up to - - 4.5 hours ride time on the pedal-assist XE-1.

Modular design for quick assembly and transport to and from the water.
Production units are currently becoming available in the United States ($9,000), United Kingdom (£6,700), Europe (€7,990) and New Zealand (NZ$13,000).
