Warm Spell Allows for Early Spring Beekeeping in Central Pennsylvania 3-17-2022

I'm trying to get a head start on my spring beekeeping at my apiary here in Central Pennsylvania. Last year several of my hives swarmed by the end of April, and because this year we had a week of above average weather in March, I thought that I needed to take advantage of it and do some early hive inspections. The way the fickle, unpredictable spring weather is here in Central Pennsylvania this could be my last chance to look at the hives for several weeks, and by that time the bees might already be in swarm mode as they were last year.
