Floating and Sinking: A Fish Full of Folly

Some materials sink and others float. But which is which and what happens when we combine them? Using a variety of demonstrations, this video explores the phenomenon of floating and sinking. In particular, we discuss the concept of density and how materials can be combined or alternatively altered to create vehicles that float or sink as we wish.
