Planning and Operations - Establishing an Independent System Operator Series

This workshop is the third in a series of events dedicated to exploring the critical topic of Establishing an Independent System Operator (ISO). It is organized in collaboration with ZESCO, the Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), and the Regional Energy Regulators Association of Southern Africa (RERA). The workshop on Planning and Operations explores the vital role of ISOs and delves into topics such as operating reserves, the intricacies of long-term, medium-term, and short-term planning processes, as well as the cutting-edge technology of SCADA systems for real-time power system supervision.
