Hanumandhoka Photowalk (20-Apr-2024)

The Kathmandu Durbar Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in front of the old royal palace of the former Kathmandu Kingdom. Built during the Lichcchavi period in the third century the palace is decorated with elaborately-carved wooden windows and panels and currently houses the King Tribhuwan Memorial Museum and the Mahendra Museum. Along with the palace, the square surrounds quadrangles, revealing courtyards and temples.
It is also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, a name derived from a statue of Hanuman, at the entrance of the palace.
