The House of Moments while in modern times is famed for it's doctors and genetic expertise, it originally became known for it's mass produced serfs and soldiers during the Annorum Tyrannus. Quite literally produced in factory like lines to meet a quota of desired labor. Not the most pleasant of histories. Though if you worried that this is still practiced, it is, just not to the extent of the Annorum Tyrannus or Seccomm. There's also the group that was on this frigid rock first. A religious order founder here for the unique properties of the xenoflora. That order is weird, but holds great stakes on the world bringing them into conflict with the house and vice versa.
