Menstrual leave has lately been made available to female students above the age of 18 by the Keralan government.
A female must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the 60 days of menstrual leave she is entitled to each year, according to the Higher Education Department.
The Cochin University of Science and Technology was the first to establish the idea of menstruation leave (Cusat).
