Manipulation isn’t always obvious. It can involve someone getting their needs met while making it seem like it’s in your best interest.
Narcissistic people often do this. They frame their wants and needs as though they’re doing you a favor while disregarding your actual needs. Recognizing this pattern is the first step in protecting yourself.
