Simple Powerful Brushless DC Electric Motor

This is a simple brushless DC motor I made using the following parts.

WARNING: This video is for educational purposes only. You are responsible for any personal injury arising from the construction and use of such a motor. If you decide to build one of these do not run at excessively high speeds as this will generate internal forces greater than the JB Kwik Weld can withstand. Use your own judgement and be careful!

Rotor:
1 x Canning Jar Ring
3 x 1/4" x 1 1/2" Bolts
3 x 1/4" Nuts
1 x Skate Bearing
8 x Neodymium Magnets (arranged NSNS...)
JB Kwik Weld

Stator:
6 x 1/4" Bolts
1 x 5/16" x 6" Carriage Bolt
1 x 5/16' Nut
2 x 5/16" Locking Nuts
15 m 26 AWG Winding wire (about 50ft)
Electrical Tape (to cover bolts before winding coils)
Hot glue to secure stator poles
Piece of pine board

I'm using a Hobbywing ESC with a custom power supply to run the motor. As you can see from the materials list, there are 8 magnetic poles in a NSNS configuration and 6 stator poles in a Y winding configuration.

Thanks for watching! I hope you find this knowledge useful!
